When you've been living single for quite a long time especially after a traumatic relationship, past memories just creeps in. Suddenly you will feel like the wound is cut open once again.
Like the night when I came up with this realization, I really can't sleep. These words keep echoing in my head.. "You are so ugly! No one will ever love you again!" I really break down and cry and stare at my reflection in front of the mirror for a long time, asking myself... "Am I really ugly? Don't I really deserve to be loved?
But being a born fighter and a survivor, I would snap out of my melancholy and find things to fill up my mind rather than feeling insecure about myself.
If a man or a woman looks at you and say you are not his/her type, you are not pretty/handsome enough, let them be. They are blind! For they do not see the perfection of your creation. Be patient because someone will come your way and sees the beauty in you. For them, you are unique in this world, for them you are perfect.
Just like the phoenix, it burst into flames long after it sheds most of its beautiful feathers that no one will believe that it is a beautiful bird, but when it is reborn from the fires that engulfed it, everyone is mesmerised by its perfection. But the phoenix can never be perfect without being scorched by fire, same thing with us. We cannot be perfect unless we surpassed all the trials that make us imperfect. And one of these trails is confidence! Have the confidence to tell yourself I am strong, I am beautiful, I am unique, I am perfect. I will be loved! God who created me is PERFECT, and HE created me in HIS image and likeness, therefore I AM PERFECT! So I mustn't feel negative about myself, I mustn't feel insecure.
If you think your life is not perfect, think back and reflect, maybe you just have not found the purpose of your life that is why you feel empty or think your life sucks. Find perfection in every situation, you'll see, you're life is as perfect as what you are hoping for.
If you think your job (own company) is not perfect. Ask yourself this "what will it make perfect?" Then you will realize that you just think that your job is not perfect because you make it imperfect by whinning and not giving your 100%. Give your best everyday and in everything that you do for your job (or own company), and do everything with great love, you'll see all the things that you see is nothing but perfection.
